Snow Days

This past week has been a special one. We got a big winter storm, and I have been lucky enough to stay home for 4 days! What an unexpected surprise! It has been a happy time sitting around and playing with Reilly. Even Ryan got time and off. We celebrated Ryan's birthday and Reilly's 6 month birthday at home as a family. We had a thick layer of ice for 3 days but this morning we woke up to a thick layer of snow. I just had to take the opportunity and bundled up Reilly and myself and went out for a few minutes of pictures. Of course he was not too impressed but he looked awfully cute. It has been so relaxing to be stranded at home with our baby boy.

This time at home has also given us a chance to start Reilly on his first solid foods. So far he has tried whole grain rice cereal and avocado. The verdict is still out on the avocado but he sure likes the cereal. Here are a few pictures of our big boy doing what he likes best, EATING.
